A full range of capabilities addressing:
  • Work order management
  • Activity logging and data collection
  • MRO purchasing and management
  • Crew scheduling and calendar management
  • Integration with equipment data

Your skilled technicians are there to keep your assets and your operations tuned and performing at their peak. Keeping that focus means delivering information that helps keep scheduled operations on track with minimum time spent “working the system”.

IDUS IS ensures that information is easy to find, and simple to use: With configurable user interfaces that let you keep important information at the fore; by taking advantage of graphics and drawings and other rich media to guide complex operations; and with helpful job routing and team management rules to keep work balanced across crews

Safe and reliable operations are everyone’s business – so make it easy for people in your facilities to report maintenance needs. IDUS Web WorkOrder lets any authorised user generate a request in the system – all that’s required is a browser. By capturing unscheduled requests through the system, your teams can respond fully prepared, and without losing time to manual notification and escalation processes.

Powerful reporting addresses a range of users’ needs. Schedules, and work order details are easily at hand for work crews, inventory listings ensure a clear picture of spares availability, and material and labour costing reports help keep budgets on track. Context-sensitive reporting makes it easy to get details relevant to your work – depending on where you are in the system, you can quickly launch a report to expose the history of an asset, the planned purchases for spare parts, or the details of a planned work order or job.

Views such as Calendar, Gantt and Chart provide easy-to-understand visual plots that instantly make it clear how heavily your teams are loaded and where there may be ways to shift jobs around to balance your work.

IDUS IS gives you the tools to start quickly, and extend your system as needed. Standard screens and functions are delivered out of the box to make asset configuration, MRO item management and job definition fast. And with the ability to define individual jobs and combine them into scheduled work orders or round lists, it’s easy to keep planned activities on track and under control.

Where asset data can be used to drive usage based maintenance activities, IDUS ValueReader makes it simple to connect to a variety of data sources. IDUS DataServer keeps your maintenance system linked to your financial or ERP system, so data only needs to be entered once for costing and related information to be kept current.

Beyond accessing iFIX for asset run times or cycle counts, IDUS Connection Suite (ICS) for iFIX gives you the ability to link IDUS pop-ups to iFIX Dynamos, giving users an easy way to switch between SCADA views and asset-specific maintenance information. Review scheduled work orders and asset history – or even log data or issue a WorkRequest – all easily accessible from within iFIX.

Your workers aren’t tied to a desk – so your information shouldn’t be either. Working with the same data foundation as the desktop and browser-based clients, IDUS App keeps your mobile technicians up to date, and makes it easy for them to log task completions and hours against jobs through their iPhone.

Taking advantage of the iPhone’s capabilities, IDUS App can buffer data for transmission when on a good network connection, and the camera can be used to add images to maintenance records.
